My advice to other disabled people would be, concentrate on things your disability doesn’t prevent you doing well, and don’t regret the things it interferes with. Don’t be disabled in spirit as well as physically. – Stephen Hawking

This episode is spot on! I am the audience and found the NASA scenes to be ridiculous, like those press conferences with an isle down the middle and no reporter over 35 years old! And like you both, like this movie and have seen it 6 or 7 times.. you didn’t mention the running gag of the disco music ( delivered with a heavy hand) despite the moron husband who finds a rarity ABBA album and almost rips it in half showing his wife in space..,,, anyway, keep em churning, Wes, I mean Todd, I mean Wes….

Hey! Journalists don’t live to be over 35. It’s a documented fact! I am curious how many audience members actually found the condescending Rich Purnell Maneuver explanation actually useful. I’m just imagining that conversation playing out with real NASA employees that doesn’t include an eyeroll and “Yeah, duh. Get back to your cave, whoever you are.” It has to be the equivalent of the sun setting and a PA running up to the Director screaming about “We can use artificial lights to continue filming! I’ve saved the day!”

That’s hilarious! I was shocked to see the actor was a star of a show AND is a recording artist who did the meaningful and well played song/video “This Is America”. I hated every scene he was in this movie because of him, however, and “I ran the numbers, it all checks out!” That was the line delivered by two different actors that was as believable as Mikey dying from eating Pop Rocks and drinking a Coke!

One more thing about Matt Damon’s “mangy” moment before he leaves the gab for the last time, the behind shit we see with the towel over the head has to be a stand in. I believe Matt Damon is revealed in the follow up shot where the towel is removed from drying his hair. This would seem to be a well played on-screen swap….
